As part of the 60th Anniversary of the UEFA European Championships, Glasgow was successful in its bid to be one of the 12 cities selected to host a unique edition of the Tournament. The Tournament commences on 12 June 2020 and will run until 12 July 2020. Glasgow will play host to four matches which will take place at Hampden Park on Monday 15, Friday 19, Tuesday 23 and Tuesday 30 June 2020.
There will be a fan zone in the Merchant City during the championships – the exact dates are still to be confirmed. However, there will be significant disruption, as over 200,000 people are expected to be in the city around then.
