Sump maintenance 16 December
The sump, which processes all the sewage from the building, will be being serviced on 16 December, which involves temporarily disabling the pumps and emptying the tank. Emptying the sump requires tankers to attend to fully empty it. In order to minimise the amount of incoming waste on during that time, please try to minimise water usage that day, including dishwashers, washing machines, showers as much as possible, so that they’re only having to deal with solid waste.
Internal redecoration
As you’ll have seen, the main stairwell and entrance vestibule redecoration have been completed. It’s in all our interests to keep it looking smart, so please take care not to scrape the walls.
The next phases will see the areas around the lift on each floor repainted and freshened up. We’ll let you know when these are scheduled.
Bicycles in the Building
Cycle couriers (e.g. Deliveroo) are not permitted to bring their cycles into the building at any time. They must be left outside – there are cycle racks nearby. The concierge will ask them to remove their bicycles before allowing them to complete their deliveries.
Also, please note that residents’ cycles must not be left in the common areas of the building, for safety reasons. This includes the dry riser outlets and the fire escape stairwells.
Christmas Trees
If you are having a real Christmas tree delivered, these must not be carried through the main entrance. Please use the fire escapes to bring them into the building. It is your responsibility to clear up any mess, including needle drops.
Thank you for your co-operation.
